What is JustPrint?

JustPrint is a web based online printing service available at www.justprint.in portal. Through this web portal you can upload your files,which may be almost in any format, and combine a multiple number of such files (should you need to) to create a compiled document. You can then select various print settings that you require for this particular document. Now, give us an order to print and distribute your document according to your list of addresses and number of copies required. And you will be doing all of this from the comfort of your own desk by accessing JustPrint web portal. By accepting a very economical payment from you, we will be taking off from your mind the strain of buying various stationery items, hassles of printing, checking, binding, packing, counting, labelling and then couriering etc.

So, just entrust your files to us and tell us how and how many prints you want and where would you like them to be delivered. Leave the rest to us and relax!

What is JustPrint Messenger?

JustPrint Messenger is a virtual printer which can be used to print a file (using the File - Print command from almost any kind of windows applications) just the same way that you would print it by selecting a printer installed in your system. However, the JustPrint Messenger printer, doest not actually print the file on papers. Instead, it will first convert the file into a form recognisable by JustPrint website. Then it automatically sends the file to your user account registered in JustPrint website. For this, JustPrint Messenger will ask you for your UserID and password. After uploading the file, JustPrint Messenger will automatically log in into your account in JustPrint website (using the UserID and password supplied by you) and directly shows the ‘MyDoc Building’ page in your internet browser. You can straightaway start building your MyDoc or start using other features of JustPrint.

What should I do to avail JustPrint service?

For availing the services offered by JustPrint.in, you have to create a customer account with us. You can do this by simply registering your UserID and password of your choice. JustPrint accepts only email IDs as UserID.

What are the system requirements?

Most home PCs are set up to allow you to install software (users have the rights). However, some business PCs are set up in such a manner that users cannot install software without permission from their company (users do not have the rights). If you are a business user, contact your IT department if you do not have permission to install the JustPrint Messenger.

Screen: Resolution 1024 x 768 (for lesser resolution s, horizontal scrolling may be required)
Operating System: JustPrint Messenger, the free virtual printer driver software, at present supports Win98, Win2000, WinXP, Win2003 and Win Vista32.

Hard Disk Space: 8MB for downloading and installing the JustPrint Messenger. When you print through JustPrint Messenger, the converted file will be created on your hard disk. So, you must be having enough free space in your hard disk according to the file you want to upload.

Download And Installation (JustPrint Messenger)

Is there anything I should do to prepare my system for installation?

It is always better to close all open applications before installing JustPrint Messenger. You must be having atleast 8MB of free hard disk space. When downloading the software, always save the file (JustPrintSetup.msi) to a temporary folder in your hard disk and install from there.

How do I or from where I can download JustPrint Messenger?

Click on the ‘Download’ link in the Home page. When the download dialog appears, select ‘Save’ to save the file to a folder in your hard disk (do not select ‘Run’ or ‘Open’). Then select ‘Start -> Run’ and select the downloaded file and click ‘OK’. follow the instructions in the installation dialog boxes.

How long will it take to download the JustPrint Messenger?

Depending on the speed of your internet connection the download time may vary. With a high-bandwidth connection, downloading our software may finish within seconds. If you are using a dial-up connection, it may take longer.

When I double click on the downloaded file, nothing happens or it opens up in Windows Notepad. What should I do?

JustPrint Messenger installation file is an .MSI (Microsoft Installer) file. Double clicking on an .MSI file may not start it automatically if you have a problem with MSI file association. To overcome this problem, from the folder in which you have saved the file, right click on the file name. Then from the displayed shortcut menu, click on ‘Install’.

How do I uninstall the Justprint Messenger?

To avoid an accidental uninstallation, JustPrint Messenger doest not add an entry in your ‘Start -> Program Files’. For uninstalling JustPrint Messenger follow the below steps: Click on Windows ‘Start’ button, select ‘Settings’, select ‘Control Panel’. From the Control Panel window, select ‘Add/Remove Programs’. Select ‘JustPrint Messenger’ from the list and click on ‘Remove’ button. When asked ‘Are you sure?’ click on ‘Yes’.

What should I do to avail JustPrint service?

The only thing that you have to do is to register yourself with JustPrint which is, of course, free! As soon as you are done with it, you can straightaway start uploading your files into your account and place your orders with us. It’s that simple!

How do I register?

Its very simple and costs you nothing. Visit JustPrint website at www.justprint.in. Click on ‘Customer Registration’ shown at the top right corner. Registration screen opens up where you have to supply the details required for registration. You have to give your emailID as your userID. Click on ‘Submit’ button. JustPrint will send you an email to the specified email address. Click on the link provided in the email.

If I forget my password, how can I retrieve it?

Click on ‘Forgot Password’ in the Home page. Enter your emailID (which you have registered in JustPrint.in). Your password will be emailed to your emailID.

What is a ‘Print’ or ‘Uploaded’ file?

A ‘Print File’ or ‘Uploaded File’ is nothing but the individual files you upload into your account in JustPrint. These files are your raw material for building a ‘MyDoc’. For information on MyDoc, please see ‘What is MyDoc?’. For information on File Upload, please see 'How do I upload my files?'

What is MyDoc?

A ‘MyDoc’ is a combination file built by combining your individual ‘Print Files' (‘Uploaded Files’).
For example, suppose you have the following 3 Print Files:
File_1 with 3 pages
File_2 with 1 page
File_3 with 4 pages.
If you combine these in the order File_2, then File_1 and then File_3 to build your MyDoc, the created MyDoc will be having all pages from File_2 first, then all pages from File_1 and then all pages from File_3.
Like this, you can build another MyDoc with a different order of file combination using the same Print Files.


How do I upload my files?

After registering with us, you can download JustPrint’s Virtual Printer Driver from our website. After installing this printer in your system, an additional printer called ‘JustPrint Messenger’ will get listed in your printers list. For uploading your files, from your application (in which you have created your files) select ‘File – Print’ option and then select ‘JustPrint Messenger’. When you click on the button ‘OK’, you will be prompted to enter your user name and password (which you had entered when you registered). After verifying your username and password, the ‘driver’ will convert the file into a JustPrint recognisable format and automatically upload that file into your account with JustPrint. Your account page will be automatically opened for you to start working with the files you have uploaded. If the file you want to print is in PDF format, you can use the ‘File Upload’ option available in the website to upload such files directly.

How many files can I upload into my account?

In fact there is no restriction on the number of files you can upload. Anyway, when you register you are allotted a maximum space of 50MB in our server. However, we may allocate more space to your account from time to time on the basis of how active you are with us. JustPrint has the right to change this Policy.

How long my files and documents will be preserved in my JustPrint account?

In case any of your Uploaded Files or MyDoc files are kept idle for more than 3 months, those files will be deleted. In such a case, we will send intimation on such an action 20 days prior. JustPrint retains its exclusive right to change this Policy any time it chooses to and any or all actions taken by JustPrint in this regard will be final and binding.

How can I view my uploaded files?

After logging in, select ‘History’ and then ‘Uploaded File List’.

Can I delete my uploaded files or documents?

Yes. You can delete your Uploaded files as well as MyDoc files. Anyway, those files or MyDoc files which are part of any active order cannot be deleted.

How do I protect my privacy online?

Never reveal your password to anyone online. Create a password that includes a combination of numbers and letters. If you ever give out your password by falling to a scam, change your password immediately. You can do this by entering the 'My Profile' section. Once you have finished using the website, do not leave the website open. Always, log out from the website. Also, you may wish to visit our Privacy Policy for more details.

How do I send more than one file in a single order?

a.       To send multiple already created MyDoc files, select them from the ‘Document List’ and ‘Add to
       shopping cart’ and proceed as usual to place your order.
b.       If you already in Shopping cart (when preparing an order), click on ‘Add Items’. From the MyDoc list
       select your file and click ‘Add to shopping cart’.

Can I reorder a ‘MyDoc’ document?

Yes. You can reorder a MyDoc document. Simply go to the ‘Document List’ under ‘Build’, select your MyDoc and click on ‘Add to Shopping Cart’ and proceed to place the order as usual.

How do I create a compiled MyDoc?

To create a MyDoc by combining multiple Print Files, you will them have to be uploaded first. After uploading the files, select ‘Build MyDoc’ from ‘Build’ menu. From the list shown, select the Print Files you want to include in your MyDoc. Proceed as usual to place your order.

How do I place an order for printing?

First upload all your files to JustPrint which you need to be included in the MyDoc. Login using your emailID and password. Select ‘Build MyDoc’ from ‘Build’ menu. From the list shown, select the Print Files you want to include in your MyDoc. Select the paper type and the print type. Select your finish options from the list shown in Finishing & Saving options. Add the MyDoc to shopping cart. Specify the number of copies required for each MyDoc. Select the recipients. Verify printing, finishing options and amounts. Make the payment through your Credit Card. Notification will be shown for you to verify. If you wish to enter any greeting message to your recipients, enter that and click on ‘Save Greeting Message or Continue’.

Can I cancel an order and get my money back?

What all are the places I can send my documents to?

Our shipping network covers almost all the places in this world.

In case of non-delivery, what will be the disposal of the document?

This is a very rare happening and should this was to ever happen to you, your document will not be returned to you. However, such shipments will invariably return back to us and we will destroy them safely. Please refer to our User Agreement and Delivery Policy for more details.

How much time will it take to deliver the documents?

This simply depends upon the geographical location of the recipient you have selected. You will be receiving an email upon dispatch of the shipment from our end and the delivery status of your orders. Please refer to our User Agreement and Delivery Policy for details.

How do I know whether my order is under processing, shipped or delivered?

At every stage of the process starting from Order placement till delivery, you will be updated through email on the status. In addition to this, for each recipient, you can track the shipment / delivery status either through the link provided in our website www.JustPrint..in or through our own courier network website www.overniteNet.com ..

During JustPrint Messenger installation, I got an error and installation stopped. What do I do?

From Windows explorer, first right click on the installer file ‘JustPrintSetup.msi’. Select ‘uninstall’ from the displayed popup menu. follow the displayed instructions. This will confirm that all JustPrint Messenger components are deleted from the system. Then right click on ‘JustPrintSetup.msi’ again and select ‘Install’ from the displayed popup menu. follow the displayed instructions in the installation dialog boxes.

Why am I getting an unhandled exception error when I try to place an order?

Generally this may be due to internet connection. If you continuously getting this error, logout from JustPrint.in and close down your internet browser. Wait for a few minutes, open your internet browser again. Login and proceed to place your order as usual.

Why did nothing happen after I selected the ‘File’ and then ‘JusPrint printer’ from the list of printers and clicked ‘OK’?

When you print a file to JustPrint Messenger, it will be converted into a format recognised by JustPrint.in prior to uploading it into our server. If your file is comparatively big, this conversion may take some time which may vary according to your system configuration and the system may seem to be doing nothing. Wait sometime for the JustPrint Messenger upload window to appear. Also, if you have a ‘Print to File’ option in the print dialog, make sure that it is unchecked.

General Troubleshooting

Why do I get a ‘Temporary Unavailable’ message when I attempt to send an order?

The "Temporarily Unavailable" message is displayed during scheduled system maintenance or if there is a problem connecting with JustPrint server. Please double-check to be sure your computer has an active connection to the Internet. If you have a valid connection try re-submitting the order a few minutes later. If, after several attempts, you're still unable to place your order, please contact customer service.

Why do I get the message ‘File too large to upload’ when I try to print a PDF file with JustPrint printer?

If you don’t have enough free space in your account, you will get this message. Try deleting unused Print Files and MyDoc files and try uploading again.

Go to the ‘My Profile’ link from the main menu, modify the details and click on ‘Save’ button.
